My Pool Table

Kendrick Model 8' Brunswick Pool Table

Almost 4 years ago I moved into a house where I could finally fit a pool table in a part of the house that wasn’t the basement. I bought an 8′ Brunswick table (Kendrick model) with burgundy colored Simonis cloth. I upgraded the balls and cues and got a cue rack. The pool table has leather pockets, solid hardwood, high-tork bolted construction, dovetailed supports and 1″ backed slate. Heavy sucker to be sure. I need a couple more things in my ‘BIG GAME ROOM’  like a storage table or bar! (I did not get my own cue YET.)  The table sits on a carpet with an elephant theme and my walls are covered with artifacts and paintings. My main featured item is a mounted 1825 Springfield (flintlock converted to percussion) military issue rifle.

I love my table even though we need a short cue in a couple places because of a support wall I can’t take out. The room is only 14 x17. 14 x20 would be perfect so we’ve thought about putting a bow seating area where a window is now which would give us the needed length to the room and it would fit the period of the house which is victorian. The lengths we go to to accommodate our games.
